I just bought a first edition philosophers stone for $12. A UK 1st edition can fetch up to $44,000 AUD. The Australian first edition can fetch up to $40 on eBay. Just made me $28!!!! SCORE!!! I'm hanging on to it though. I'll wait until the prices soar. I'm damn sure I can get $41 for it within ten years.
